Use calculators in your assistant
The QuickCalculators connector provides 480 individually named calculators for mathematics, finance, statistics, science, dates, geometry and Indian land measurements. Each operation declares its inputs, units and limits. Results include calculated values, assumptions and a link to the corresponding calculator page.
Updated 5 November 2026. Public-directory availability depends on each platform’s review. A working custom connection does not mean a directory submission has been approved.

Connect in Claude
- Open your connector settings and choose the option to add a custom connector, if available for your account.
- Name it QuickCalculators and enter the server URL above.
- Select no sign-in and leave custom request headers empty.
- Review the discovered calculators, then enable the connector in a new conversation.
Connect in ChatGPT
- Open Plugins and add a custom MCP server, if your account or workspace offers that option.
- Name it QuickCalculators, enter the same server URL and select no authentication.
- Review the connection notice and discovered operations, then create and install the custom connection.
- Start a new conversation and select QuickCalculators.
Connection controls and account eligibility vary by platform. For the current ChatGPT flow, see OpenAI’s connection documentation.
Try a calculation
- “Use QuickCalculators to calculate 15 percent of 200” —
percentage_calculatortakesa=15andb=200, and returns 30. - “Find the area and circumference of a circle with radius 5 units” —
circle_calculatortakesgiven=radiusanda=5; area is about 78.53981634 square units and circumference is about 31.41592654 units. - “Calculate elapsed days from 1 January 2026 to 1 February 2026, with the end after the start” —
date_difference_calculatorreturns 31 days.
For a loan, provide the principal or purchase-price split, interest rate, repayment period, schedule detail and currency. Your assistant should ask for missing material inputs rather than silently choosing example values. A calculated answer alone does not prove that a connector was called: check the assistant’s tool invocation and returned result.
For developers
Initialize an MCP client against the HTTPS endpoint and use tools/list to discover the concrete input schema of each named operation. Invoke that operation with tools/call. Tool inputs are direct fields, not a generic calculator ID and input object. Successful calls include text content and structured results with calculator identity, supplied values, metrics and limitations.
For example, call percentage_calculator with {"a":15,"b":200}. The older search_calculators, calculator_details and calculate gateway operations are retired. This endpoint does not offer a separate generic REST calculation API.
Limits and error handling
The connector accepts calculation values and bounded text fields, not uploaded files. It does not fetch live rates, weather, Wikipedia content or arbitrary websites; operate accounts; transfer money; or execute investment trades. Standalone website utilities are outside the connector catalogue. Some website calculators are also excluded, so the two catalogues differ.
Requests have a 2 MiB body limit. Two calculations can execute at once, with an eight-second task limit; per-client and proxy rate limits also apply. A busy service returns CAPACITY_BUSY, retryable: true and a retry delay. Retry the same valid inputs after that delay. Do not change correct values just because capacity is busy. Input-validation errors require correcting the relevant field; repeated timeouts may require a smaller supported input.
Tax, health, investment and engineering results are educational estimates under the stated model. They are not diagnoses, product quotes, guaranteed returns or professional certification. Verify important decisions with suitable official sources or qualified professionals.
Troubleshoot a connection
- Old tool names are missing: refresh the connector’s tool metadata and start a new conversation. Recreate the custom connection if it still advertises retired operations.
- Opening the MCP URL displays an error: an ordinary browser GET can return HTTP 405 because MCP uses protocol POST requests. Use the status link above for a browser-readable check.
- A required input is missing: supply the field and units requested by the named calculator. No user facts are inferred from a sample.
- A website tool is absent: only the 480 published calculators are available through this connection.
Privacy and support
Connector inputs travel through your assistant platform to our server for processing. They do not stay exclusively on your device. We do not keep an input or result database. Read the connector section of our privacy policy for processing, retention and provider details. Do not submit passwords, keys, personal identifiers or confidential medical or financial records.
For help, email [email protected] or use our contact information. Include the tool name and a synthetic example rather than private figures. You can also browse the website calculators.
