We collect the minimum amount of data required to provide our services:

Personal Information: When you sign in, we collect your Name and Email Address via Google Authentication.
Authentication Data: We store secure authentication tokens to maintain your session.
Network Information: We temporarily process your IP Address to prevent abuse and enforce daily usage limits for guest users.
Website Content: When you use features like “Summarize Page” or “Refine Text,” we temporarily process the text content of the webpage or your specific text selection.

3. How We Use Your Information

To Provide Features: We send your selected text to our AI processing providers (Google Gemini) to generate summaries, rewrite text, or fix grammar as requested by you.
Account Management: Your email is used to identify your account and sync your “Pro” plan status across devices.
Security & Rate Limiting: Your IP address is used solely to count daily usage for non-logged-in users and is reset every 24 hours.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We do not sell your data. We share data only with the following trusted third-party infrastructure providers necessary to run the service:

Supabase: Used for secure user authentication and database storage (User profiles and plan status).
Cloudflare: Used to host our API and manage rate limiting (IP address processing).
Google Gemini (AI): Used as the Large Language Model (LLM) to process text. Text sent to the AI is for processing only and is not used to train their models.
Lemon Squeezy: Used as our payment processor. We do not store or see your credit card details; we only receive a status update (e.g., “Plan: Pro”) from them.

5. Data Retention

Chat History: Your chat history is stored locally on your device (in your browser’s local storage) and is not synced to our servers. You can clear this at any time via the extension settings.
User Account: Account information (Name, Email, Plan Status) is retained as long as your account is active.
