1. No Data Collection

We are committed to your privacy. This Extension does not collect, store, transmit, or sell your personal data.

• We do not track your search queries.
• We do not collect your browsing history.
• We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) such as names, emails, or IP addresses.

2. How We Use Permissions

The Extension requires specific permissions to function. Here is how and why they are used:

• Host Permissions (google.com): The Extension checks if you are visiting Google Search. This is performed locally on your device to determine if the “Web Mode” parameter (&udm=14) needs to be added. No data is sent to external servers.
• Storage: We use the Chrome Storage API to save your preferences (e.g., whether the extension is currently toggled “On” or “Off”). This preference is stored locally on your browser.
• DeclarativeNetRequest: This permission is used to modify the network request to Google Search by appending the udm=14 parameter. This happens instantaneously at the network level and does not involve reading or storing your page content.

3. Third-Party Services

This Extension does not use any third-party analytics, tracking scripts, or advertising services.

4. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify users through the Chrome Web Store listing update notes.
