First, calculate the “Quality Points” for each course:
Math: 3 credits × 4.0 = 12 points
History: 3 credits × 3.0 = 9 points
Next, sum the points and credits:
Total Points: 12 + 9 = 21
Total Credits: 3 + 3 = 6
Finally, divide the points by credits:
21 / 6 = 3.5 GPA
